P90X

I am finishing up week four of P90X for the second time. I have not seen as much weight loss this time but I can feel a difference in my muscles. This round has been a lot more fun and I can't wait to start the second month. We will take pictures and measurements on Sunday. I can't say I am really looking forward to seeing the numbers. In all the blogs that I have read it seems like the first month is all for building your base muscle and then the second month you start to lose weight. For the most part I feel better about myself and that is really all that matters. I know that taking care of your body is one of the most important things that I can do. Knowing that I am doing that makes me feel accomplished. I have also start using the Loseit program on the iPhone. Not a perfect application but great for what I am looking for. It allows you to track calories will very little work and also helps you set goals and know when you will achieve them. I have only started using the application a few days ago, but I think it is going to be an invaluable resource to me losing weight. I have set a goal weight and if I can lose just 1 pound a week I will be done at the end of June. Then I can work on maintaining. At this point in time I feel like 1 pound a week is not that much to ask of myself. I think I will be able to acheive this with P90X and a healthy diet.
I know this is a little long winded and not about much but it is what I have been thinking about the past week or so.
I am nervous about learning a brand new set of excercises but I am looking forward to it at the same time. I can't wait to see what kind of results I can get from a healthy diet and hard work without having to go the gym!
